Over the last decade, working with professional institutes, John has contributed to furthering project and programme management capability in the UK generally. Whilst working with many corporates in a variety of sectors, he has also focussed on developing those skills in professional advisory businesses.

Complementing his experience across a vast range of projects, John has obtained the Project Management Institute accreditation (PMP) and is a full member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM). John is also a PRINCE2 practitioner.

John strongly believes that the management of projects can always be enhanced. This is a view that is becoming increasingly relevant and important, particularly in terms of current business models where most work is project based. All projects are different by definition, and to enable success on each one John builds a specialist delivery team, exploiting his wide associate network.
