Case study 2

  • Project Multiple facility implementation programme
  • Sector Welfare-to-work
  • Date 2009

This project involved simultaneously implementing over a dozen welfare-to-work facilities in England and Scotland. The client was a DWP supplier, with several contract awards under the ‘Flexible New Deal’ programme.

We completed the assignment by the scheduled completion date in October 2009, having commenced in April 2009. In addition to the identification and purchase of leasehold premises, the premises were fitted out to the client’s requirements including IT infrastructure and equipment. Also staff were hired (and TUPE’d) and trained to commence work by go-live. Other project elements included process and software development, and project management services covered weekly reporting to DWP and conducting a post-implementation review.
